Support for local businesses and non-profits

We recognize the difficulties to businesses caused by COVID-19 and are committed to helping them weather and recover from the crisis.

The Business Communications and Support Office is a single point of contact for Vancouver’s local business owners to:

  • Get information about re-opening protocols and business support programs
  • Learn about City initiatives to support businesses
  • Learn what City services for businesses are currently up-and-running
  • Make suggestions to the City about business and the economy
  • Respond to requests for information and assistance

The Vancouver Economic Commission  is our economic development agency and provides support complementary to our services. Refer to their website to find resources for businesses and workers, and information on economic impact, mitigation, and recovery efforts.

The BC Business COVID-19 Support Service , facilitated by Small Business BC, serves as a single point of contact for businesses throughout the province looking for information on resources available during COVID-19.
