This week is Emergency Preparedness Week (May 4 -10) and it is a good reminder to ask yourself if you are ready for an emergency.

Living in Vancouver, we could be faced with a major earthquake and yet few of us take the necessary steps to ensure we and our families are prepared.

How you can get prepared

  • Know the risks
  • Make a plan
  • Get an emergency kit
  • Take a free City of Vancouver emergency preparedness workshop

How you can help us get prepared

We want to understand how you are preparing  for earthquakes and other emergencies. Fill out a questionnaire to help us identify any knowledge gaps we could support with future programs.
