Event details

NOTE: The times have changed slightly.

Join us as we conduct a set of walking tours in the afternoon of Sunday September 30.

The tours will offer participants a chance to reflect on four different and distinct areas of Grandview-Woodland. We will look at these sites - located across the neighbourhood - in relation to key planning themes (housing, transportation, arts & culture, heritage & character, parks & public space, social issues, urban health & safety).

All tours start with a brief presentation at the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre (1607 E. Hastings @ Commercial). A brown bag lunch will be served. The walking tours will be followed by a dialogue and recap session.

Participants should be prepared to walk for approximately two hours, rain or shine. Comfortable shoes and walk-friendly attire are important.

Interested in attending the walking tours? Please email us and let us know. The event is free, but your RSVP will help us to plan appropriately.
