
Proof of vaccination required for some City programs, events, activities
To align with the Provincial Health Officer’s order External website, opens in new tab, starting today we are now requiring proof of vaccination for some City of Vancouver programs, events, and activities, including those run by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, Vancouver Civic Theatres, the Vancouver Public Library, and by other organizations hosting events at our facilities.
Where proof of vaccination is required
Entry into most buildings including City Hall, libraries, and recreation centres does not require proof of vaccination, but is required for some programs, events, and activities, including:
- Fitness centres and weight rooms
- Indoor adult sports gatherings
- Golf course clubhouses
- All indoor events and activities held at any Vancouver Civic Theatres location

Note Proof of vaccination is not required to attend a City Council meeting in person or when visiting our public service counters, but wearing a mask is mandatory.
