Vancouver doctors help you find a family doctor with "A GP for Me"

One in six Vancouver residents are actively looking for a family doctor and 93% think it is important for everyone to have a family doctor.

With one in six Vancouver residents actively looking for a family doctor, the City of Vancouver is supporting "A GP (general practitioner) for Me", an innovative new physician- and citizen-engagement campaign by the BC Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC.

The aim of the program is to strengthen the health care system by:

  • Helping you find a family doctor
  • Supporting the relationship between patients and family doctors

How you can participate

Over the next 12 weeks, Vancouver family doctors will launch a series of patient-doctor summits, online engagement, and community meetings to improve health care for Vancouver residents. They will be asking you about your priorities, values, and what's important to you when you are sick and need care. One way you can provide your input is by participating in the following online survey:
