Clinton Park

Clinton Park Concept Plan

The Vancouver Park Board is developing a park renewal plan for part of Clinton Park to refurbish the play area and other amenities near the field house.

The plan will review the usage and condition of existing park features, and identify priorities for park improvements.

What's happening

Playground renewal timing

Clinton Park has been identified as a potential location for a new synthetic turf field. The playground renewal is being postponed until we have gathered community feedback on the proposed synthetic turf field. This will ensure the two projects are properly coordinated and that the playground responds sufficiently to changing public needs for the park should the new turf field be constructed.

The Park Board recognizes the need for a new playground at Clinton Park and we remain committed to renewing this playground.

September 2016

We asked how you use Clinton Park, what you think works well, and what needs improvement at an open house on September 1 and in an online questionnaire from September 1 to 15. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts. We're summarizing the feedback we received and will provide an update soon.
