COVID-19 update: Evelyne Saller Centre

March 2021: Programming remains limited and will gradually be restored in-line with public health guidelines.

Face masks are available, and are required to be worn.

We are currently offering:

Meal service:

  • Breakfast: 10am to noon
  • Lunch: 11am to 3pm
  • Dinner: 3pm to 5:50pm

There is an option to dine-in, providing we have not reached maximum occupancy capacity. Otherwise, all meals will be take-out.

Hand-washing and sanitizing options are provided before and after receiving meals.


Shower service daily:

  • Monday to Friday:
    • First shower: 9:45am
    • Last shower: 6:45pm
  • Saturday and Sunday:
    • First shower: 10:30am
    • Last shower: 6pm

Sign up is required.

Washrooms are available from 9am to 11pm.


Laundry service Monday to Friday:

  • Drop-off:
    • 9am to 2pm (unless maximum in take loads is reached)
  • Pick-up:
    • Week days: 9:30am to 7:45pm
    • Weekends: 10:30 am to 6:45pm
  • Limit: 50 loads per day

Drop in space:

  • Week days: 9am to 11pm
  • Weekends: 10am to 10pm

Maximum occupancy limits are in affect, per area, and for the building as a whole.

The Evelyne Saller Centre cafeteria is open seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our cafeteria provides hot meals with a different menu each day.

Cost and payments

A full course breakfast, lunch, or dinner costs $2.00 per meal. Get extra portions for an additional price.

Pay for your meals with cash or prepay by adding money to a client meal account. Clients on social assistance can set up a monthly account through the Ministry of Human Resources.

If you would like to set up a food account or need more information about our meal services, please contact the Centre from Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm.
