COVID-19 restart: indoor pools


Previously planned swimming lesson safety measures will remain in place until at least August 9, 2021.

Saunas and steam rooms will remain closed for the time being.

 Kensington Pool will not reopen during the pandemic.

A limited number of drop-in sessions will be available, in addition to registered swims. Register for a swim session.

Outdoor pools

July 9, 2021: Effective July 12, Kitsilano, Second Beach, and New Brighton Pools have increased capacities. Drop-in sessions are available. Advance online registration is highly recommended to secure a spot.

Tickets are sold by pod for physical distancing. Maximum of two people (not including preschoolers) per pod. 

Advance online registration will be required for all swim sessions.
