Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver

Kitsilano Beach, known as "Kits" Beach, is located on Cornwall Ave at the north end of Yew St.

The Seawall runs along side the beach and Kitsilano Pool is at the west side.

Due to extreme fire risk, a temporary ban on all BBQs is now in full effect at all Vancouver parks and beaches.

COVID-19 update: beaches

Lifeguards will patrol and supervise designated swimming areas at ten beaches: English Bay, Jericho, Kitsilano, Locarno, Spanish Banks East and West, Sunset, Second, Third, and Trout Lake.

Patrolled swimming areas will be marked by red and yellow coloured flags from 11:30am to 8:30pm every day throughout the season.

Trout Lake Beach is temporarily closed for swimming due to high E.coli levels present in the water.

Kitsilano Pool

Kitsilano Pool is a salt-water, outdoor pool located near the beach in Kitsilano. It is open from Victoria Day weekend to mid-September.
