To celebrate our parks and trails, we're hosting #MoveforHealthVan, a contest where residents can post about or log their daily activity to win prizes.
The contest begins May 10, which is Global Move for Health Day.
What counts as activity
Anytime you find yourself moving your body for exercise outside and around the city, this can be documented in your log or posted on social media as an entry.
For example, you could take a photo or video of yourself:
- Walking through Stanley Park
- Running on the seawall
- Playing volleyball in Kitsilano
- Doing yoga in your local park
- Wearing your swim cap before swimming in the ocean
Update your activity log PDF file (474 KB), tag Park Board social media accounts, and use #MoveforHealthVan in your social media posts or stories to be entered into the contest.
