Vancouver offers many great waterways for paddling and boating in a variety of vessels including:

  • Sailboats
  • Motorized boats
  • Dragonboats

For your safety 

  • Boats and windsurfers must stay at least 300m from swimming beaches
  • Windsurfing is only permitted from Locarno and Kitsilano beaches
  • On a trial basis, kiteboarding is only permitted from Spanish Banks Beach

Creekside

False Creek

The False Creek Community Centre is located at 1318 Cartwright St, Vancouver, BC. 604-257-8195. Amenities include a dance and pottery studio, fitness centre with sauna, tennis courts, gymasium, water park, playground, and boating programs including dragonboating and kayaking.
