Pickleball court guidelines and code of conduct

Courtesy play guidelines

  • Place your paddle in the next available slot on the paddle rack to the right, rotating clockwise as you reach the end.
  • Don’t use a second paddle to reserve a court, either for yourself while playing or for someone else. Watch for your turn and listen for the “court open” call to make sure the next group can start play.
  • You must be present on-site to play.
  • Play to 11 points or for a maximum of 15 minutes.
  • Move on and off the courts as a group to minimize interrupting other games.
  • To play as a foursome, arrange your paddles together in the rack and head to the court when it’s your turn.
  • Singles play is allowed, but doubles is encouraged during busy times.
  • Play pickleball in designated areas only.

Code of conduct

  • Take all your garbage with you or dispose of it in the appropriate bins.
  • Wear only non-marking athletic footwear.
  • The courts are reserved exclusively for pickleball, except for permitted activities.
  • Smoking of any tobacco, cannabis, or vapor products, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted.
  • Glass bottles and containers are not allowed.
  • Cycling, rollerblading, hockey, scooters, skateboarding, and pets are not permitted on the courts at any time.
