COVID-19 restart: indoor pools

September 13, 2021: Proof of vaccination is required to participate in some programs and events. Entry into recreation centres does not require proof of vaccination, but will be required for some programs and activities. Come prepared with your official proof of vaccination and government-issued photo ID.

September 7, 2021: Online registration for swim sessions will not be required. Swimmers may drop-in on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Advanced online registration for Aquafit sessions is highly recommended to secure a spot. A limited number of Aquafit drop-in spots will be available in person, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To accommodate essential cleaning closures, swim participants are required to exit the facility within 15 minutes of the end of the session. Pass-scan or payment is required for re-admission. Cleaning schedules vary by site and can be checked on individual facility pages.

Swimming lessons for preschoolers, children, and youths are available with limited capacities. Register for lessons.

Masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces for those 12 years and older, even if you are vaccinated. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided at the front desk.
