Litter cleanup challenge

To kick off the cleanup season this year, we're bringing the cleanup to you.

Conduct a cleanup anytime between March 22 to April 22 and complete our survey for a chance to win 1 of 25 prizes.

You can use your own equipment or pick up a cleanup kit at any participating community centre or community policing centre.

Challenge details

How to participate
- Between March 22 and April 22, pick up a cleanup kit from one of listed locations or use your own equipment.
- Before starting your cleanup, read our safety guidelines (668 KB) (available in 5 other languages).
- During your cleanup, take a photo of the garbage you collected or your cleanup in action.
- After you complete your cleanup, dispose of the collected garbage in your own bins or in a designated bin at the community centre.
- Fill out the post-cleanup survey and submit the survey along with your photo for a chance to win one of 25 prizes. Every cleanup logged gives you another chance to win a prize.
- Return the equipment at the end of the challenge (if you borrowed it), or keep it and register for our Adopt-a-Block program.
