Street Checks Review

After receiving a report about street checks from the VPD, in response to a Service and Policy Complaint filed by the Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) and BC Civil Liberties (BCCLA), the Vancouver Police Board ordered an additional, independent review at its meeting on Sept. 26, 2018.

The Board is pleased to announce that it has finalized a contract with Pyxis Consulting Group Inc. to conduct the review. Work will begin in January and is set to be completed by end of 2019.
