Our sanitation services branch and local non-profit organizations working under our Street Cleaning Grant Program, play an integral role in keeping our city clean, vibrant and thriving.
Our crews provide services 365 days a year, with the majority of work performed at night to avoid interrupting traffic and pedestrians.
How you can help maintain our streets and sidewalks
- Don't drop litter, cigarette butts, or chewing gum on the ground
- Report an overflowing litter bin or burnt out street light with Van311
- Pick up after your dog
- If you find a needle on the street or in the park, report it online or contact the Needle Van Hotline at 604-657-6561 or needlevan@phs.ca.
- Volunteer to join or host a Neighbourhood Cleanup Party
