At the Vancouver Park Board all purchases and accounts payable are coordinated by the Purchasing Department. The goal of the department is to provide best value for the organization using accepted purchasing practices while following the policies and procedures of the Board.

Following is a listing of potential bidding opportunities with the Vancouver Park Board.

Project Title	Invitation to Tender T-2011-9 Prince Edward & Salsbury Park
Description	In general, the work of this project includes but is not limited to materials and labour to construct two children’s playgrounds, a spray park, asphalt paths, retaining walls, drainage work, and irrigation. A detailed scope of work is included in the tender documents. Tender documents will be available after 4:00 pm. on June 20, 2011 from the Purchasing Department at the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, 2099 Beach Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4. There will be a non-refundable fee of $40.00 for documents.
Bid Date	Closes on July 8, 2011 at 3:00pm local time.
