Partial Stanley Park Seawall closure extended until February 10

Feb 7, 2012 (No. 3) - The Vancouver Park Board has extended the partial Stanley Park seawall closure, between Siwash Rock and Prospect Point from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., until Friday, February 10. The seawall was previously scheduled for closure February 6 and 7.

This additional closure will enable on-site crews to safely complete the necessary maintenance and vegetation management work to prepare the seawall for the peak summer period. Signs have been placed along the seawall listing the closure dates and Park Rangers are available to assist the public with detour routes.
