Board Meetings

The Vancouver Park Board is one of the only elected bodies of its kind in Canada. As with all other civic elected posts in the City of Vancouver, seven Park Board Commissioners are elected every three years. The last civic election took place in November 2011 and the next election will be held in November 2014.

The Park Board generally holds public board meetings every two weeks. All of the meetings take place at the Park Board Administration Office, 2099 Beach Avenue in Stanley Park. In addition, two committees of the Board - Services and Budgets, and Planning and Environment - generally meet once a month.
