Vancouver Parks Golf Announces
New Youth Programs

May 31 , 2011– Vancouver Parks Golf is pleased to announce two new golf programs aimed at targeting youth golfers and creating more opportunities for Vancouver's junior golfers looking for a game of golf as the summer approaches.

On Father's Day June 19th Vancouver Parks Golf Courses - Fraserview, McCleery and Langara - will be offering 'Kids Play Free' with every paid adult green fee after 1:00pm. This is a great opportunity for fathers and their juniors to spend a day on the golf course together.

To enhance the Father's Day promotion and our commitment to growing the game of golf we are also pleased to announce that for the entire month of June during our weekend Twilight and Sunset times that juniors will play for free with a paid adult at all three of our Championship golf courses.

"We are committed to providing alternative activities for Vancouver's youth and are excited to announce these two great initiatives that we hope will both grow the game of golf and provide new opportunities for families", commented Howard Normann, Supervisor of Golf Operations for Vancouver Parks Golf.
