![]() A skateboarder grinds some coping in Hastings Bowl at Hastings Park. Opening in the Fall of 2004 is the new Downtown Skateboard Plaza at Quebec and Union Streets (under the Georgia/Dunsmuir Viaducts near the southeast corner of Andy Livingstone Park). It will be a street-style skateboard park, the first of its kind in North America. China Creek Park South at East Broadway and Clark DriveA single bowl, pyramid and a hipbox are open dawn until dusk daily. For more information call the Park Board Office at 604-257-8400. Coopers' Park (North False Creek, under Cambie Bridge)Two skate benches, grind rail and other features have been added to make the park more skate-friendly, separate from the children's playground. False Creek Community Centre located at 1318 Cartwright StreetOperated on a basketball court with a launch ramp, fun box and rails. Available Saturdays from Noon - 4:00pm. Killarney Community Centre at 6260 Killarney Street- Indoor Sessions- Summer 2004The Killarney X Club is open for 10-18 year old boarders from July 3 to August 31st, Tuesdays from 3 - 5 pm and Saturday from 1 - 4 pm.
