Tree Relocation and Removal at Science World in creekside Park

As part of Science World’s expansion, 27 of 42 existing trees in Creekside Park will be relocated. The remaining 15 trees cannot survive the move and will be cut down in September 2011.  Once construction is complete, 50 new trees will be planted in the park and along a new pedestrian and cycle path.  

All work related to tree relocation, removal, and planting will be coordinated with the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. Please refer to the tree plan below.
