Garden, located at 37th Avenue and Oak Street, on Saturday, February
28th for the 15th Annual Seedy Saturday, in the Floral
Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is a celebration of heritage
seed varieties and organic gardening featuring more than 30 growers,
seed companies and exhibitors, a Heritage Seed Swap and the Great Bean
Count. Speakers this year include Tod Major, former Director
of Park and Tilford Garden, on Growing Vegetables and Ornamentals
in a Holistic, Ecological Layering Program.
Patrick Steiner of Stellar Seeds will also be on tap
and speaking on A Seed-Saver's Journey Through India and Nepal.
