Special Events in Vancouver Parks
March 1, 2004 (No. 3) - Vancouver Parks host a diverse range
of cultural events and outdoor activities. Listed below are some upcoming
special events facilitated by the Vancouver Park Board. For detailed

Stanley
Park Seawall Closed - between Lions Gate Bridge and Third Beach Monday, March 1st to Friday, March 12th - The popular seawall
will be closed for its annual cliff scaling but will be open after
5:00 pm on weekdays and all day on the weekends. Note:
A full closure of this area will follow the scaling work for seawall
widening and re-paving. Further details regarding this closure
will be posted on the Park Board website the week of March 8th.
Spring Garden
Forum at VanDusen Botanical Garden March 6th, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm - Located at 5251
Oak Street. Register now to reserve your spot in one of Vancouver's
hottest horticultural workshops. Admission - Garden Members:

Walk with a Naturalist
in the Hastings Park Sanctuary Saturday, March 13th, 1:00 pm - Join
naturalist Al Grass at the south side of the Agrodome
(PNE) for this two hour, free, guided walk. Rain or shine.
Sponsored by the Hastings Park Conservancy. This invitation is
