Seniors' Week Tea & Dance Set for Roundhouse

May 31, 2004 (No. 35) - The Vancouver Board will highlight Seniors' Week on Wednesday, June 9th at a city-wide Spring Tea & Dance set for the Roundhouse Arts and Recreation Centre from 1 - 4 pm. Located at 181 Roundhouse Mews (Davie & Pacific Streets), this year's event will feature the live, big band sounds of the Stardust Orchestra, dance performance demonstrations, light refreshments and desserts plus door prizes.

Tickets for the Seniors' Week Spring Tea & Dance can be purchased at your local community centre for $5 per person. Attendees can inquire at their local centre about transportation to the event. Participants are asked to purchase their tickets by June 2nd if possible.

Those attending the event by public transport can do so through TransLink  which serves the Beach/Burrard Bus Route #001.
