FREE "Around the Park" Stanley Park Shuttle Begins Tuesday, June 22nd

June 21, 2004 (No. 45) - The Stanley Park Shuttle is back once again as a FREE, fun and convenient alternative to car travel throughout the park. From June 22nd to September 26th , 10:00 am to 6:30 pm daily, park visitors can board the shuttle at 14 convenient stops around the park. The Shuttle removes the headaches of planning an all day outing to the park. For instance, a family can park their car, visit the Children's Farmyard and ride the Stanley Park Miniature Railway, then they can take the Shuttle to Second Beach Pool for an afternoon swim. With so many leisure options in the park, the shuttle makes "a day at the park" easy to plan.

The Shuttle operates every 15 minutes and stops at 14 of the most popular sites and facilities. It takes approximately 45 minutes for the entire trip around the park. The Shuttle is provided by the Vancouver Park Board as part of its effort to preserve the environment of one of the Lower Mainland's most beautiful and well-visited parks.
