of cultural events and outdoor activities. Listed below are some upcoming
special events facilitated by the Vancouver Park Board. For detailed

Bard On The Beach at Vanier Park Bard on the Beach
now through
September 26 at Vanier
Park. Show time 8 pm nightly featuring Shakespeare's Merry
Wives of Windsor, Much Ado About Nothing and Macbeth. Ph. 604-739-0559.
Monsters in the Meadow outdoor film series Featuring King Kong Friday, September 10 at 8 pm at Ceperley
Meadow in Stanley Park. Park Board sponsored free outdoor movie.

Walk With
A Naturalist in the Hastings Park Sanctuary Saturday, September 11. Join naturalist Al Grass at the south side of
the Agrodome (PNE) at 1 pm for this two hour, free, guided walk. Rain
or shine. Sponsored by the Hastings
Park Conservancy. This invitation is not extended to dogs. Ph. 604-255-9458.
Mustang Car Display at Spanish Banks West Sunday, September 12 starting at 10 am. Sponsored by the Greater
Vancouver Mustang Association

Terry Fox Run starts at Ceperley Meadow
in Stanley Park Sunday, September 19 at 10 am. Ten kilometer run but shorter courses
for other groups. For Registration and other information phone 604-464-2666.
Annual Walk For AIDS starts at upper Ceperley
Meadow in Stanley Park Sunday, September 26. Registration at 8:30 am with start time at 11
am. There are10 km and 2 km walks to choose from. Ph. 604- 915-9255.
