Park Board Open House
Dollars and Sense
October 12, 2004 (No. 76) - The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is inviting all city residents to an open house in late October to discuss the services of the Board and the planning for the 2005 budget. The informal session will provide a good opportunity for residents to meet Park Commissioners and staff, find out about the breadth of services offered and give input into the new budget for 2005.
It has been a goal of the Park Board to include residents in the budget building process and ideas and feedback from the October 28th Open House will be considered in building the parks and recreation budget for the coming year.
This event does not require pre-registration and all ages are welcome.
Refreshments will be served.
