"Chillin' on Ice" Resumes

Late Night Skating for Teens at Killarney Ice Rink

January 10, 2005 (No. 2) - Killarney Community Centre, located at 6260 Killarney Street, is resuming its Saturday late night ice skating program, "Chillin' on Ice," for teens aged 13-19. The program offers a safe, fun environment for kids to spend time with their friends while a DJ provides the latest music. The popular program began this fall to encourage teens to get physically active and involved.

"Chillin' on Ice" is just one initiative of "Get Out!" a multidisciplinary program launched by the Park Board and the City's Office of Cultural Affairs and Social Planning Department to support youth getting more active through sports, physical activity, arts and culture.
