Public Input Requested Proposed Park NamingJanuary 26, 2005 (No. 7) - The Vancouver Park Board is considering a request to name the diminutive parksite at Redbud and Vine Streets, Rosemary Brown Park. A sign has been erected on the .12 hectare park site to solicit community input on the suggested name. Rosemary Brown, former Provincial Member of the Legislative Assembly, served as the Vancouver Burrard Representative from 1972-1979. Ms. Brown died in April 2003 and the parksite proposed for naming falls within her former riding.
