Celebrate Canada's Parks Day!

Tall Tree Tales Guided Walks at Queen Elizabeth Park Saturday, July 16th

July 8, 2005 (No. 54) - The Vancouver Park Board will sponsor two free guided walks through the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park arboretum to celebrate Canada's Parks Day on Saturday, July 16th starting at 11 am. Join Park Board Urban Forestry Technician Bill Stephen as he enlightens all tree lovers through descriptions and botanical stories of some of the park's most beautiful and unique trees.

What: Tall Tree Tales - Guided Walking Tours

Where: Meet in front of the Bloedel Floral Conservatory
at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park located at 33rd Avenue & Cambie Street

When: 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday, July 16th
(each tour is two hours in duration)
