Beat the Heat - Public 'Ice Time' Now on Sale in August

August 15, 2005 (No. 64) - Three of the Vancouver Park Board's public ice skating rinks are offering reduced rates for hourly bookings just in time to cool off in the dog days of August. Bookings are now being accepted for rentals from August 21 through September 3 at the low cost of $99 per hour. The sale is perfectly timed for "cooling off" during some of Vancouver's hottest days. This will be a great opportunity for booking activities including hockey, ringette, broomball and end of summer parties.
