Online Registration Now Available at Many Vancouver Community Centres

September 6, 2005 (No. 66) - Signing up for community recreation programs has gotten that much easier with over 50% of Vancouver's community centres now accepting online registration. Now from the comfort of your home you can peruse the lengthy list of programs, activities and events that are available close by in your own neighbourhood or in another nearby Vancouver community.

The Park Board launched its pilot online registration service on its popular web site at www.vancouverparks.ca in March 2004 with two community centres. Presently there are 12 community centres now activated and ready for program registration with just a click of a button! All community centres will be geared up for online registration in 2006.
