Park Board Public Offices to Close at 4:00 pm on Monday, January 23rd

January 19, 2006 (No. 4) - Park Board administrative offices will close at 4 pm on Monday, January 23rd , 2006 to allow staff the opportunity to vote in the Federal Election. These include the main office at 2099 Beach Ave, the Rose Garden office located off Pipeline Road in Stanley Park, the VanDusen Garden administrative office, and the three Park Board district offices: Queen Elizabeth Office, 30 East 30th Avenue; Vancouver East Office, 955 Evans Avenue and Stanley Office, at 2099 Beach Avenue. This is in accordance with the Canada Elections Act which states that employers must provide eligible employees with three consecutive hours to vote between 7 am and 7 pm on the day of the Federal Election.

VanDusen Garden, Bloedel Conservatory, community centres, pools and rinks will remain open to the public for their regular hours of operation.
