Public Open House: Hillcrest Curling Venue/Legacy Facility and Percy Norman Aquatic Centre Design and Site Plan

March 6, 2006 (No. 16) - The Vancouver Park Board approved the Master Plan for Riley, Hillcrest and Nat Bailey Stadium Parks in May 2005. A revised plan was approved by the Park Board in October 2005. In January 2006, the City of Vancouver approved the rezoning of the parks to CD-1 to allow for construction of the Olympic Curling/Legacy building and the new aquatic centre. After the Olympics, the curling venue will be converted for community use, including a new community centre, ice rink, curling club and library.

The public is invited to an Open House to view the schematic design plans and site plan for the Curling Venue/Legacy Facility and Percy Norman Aquatic Centre.
