Stanley Park Seawall Reopens to the Public 5:00pm Friday, May 12^th

May 11, 2006 (No. 12) - The Stanley Park Seawall is reopening tomorrow, Friday, May 12th at 5:00pm after being closed for reconstruction since late March. The reconstructed section spans from near the north foot of Pipeline Road westerly to the Lions Gate Bridge. Reconstruction work included widening, split-leveling and resurfacing of the asphalt seawall pathway.

The Stanley Park Seawall, built incrementally over a 70-year period, is one of the most popular recreational facilities in Vancouver serving walkers, joggers, cyclists and rollerbladers.
