Sheep Shearing Time at The Children's Farmyard in Stanley Park!

May 19, 2006 (No. 34) - It is time for the annual sheep shearing at the Stanley Park Children's Farmyard. On Monday, May 22nd, the twelve Cotswold and Jacobs sheep will be having their annual "haircut". Pookie the llama and Brandy the horse will also be getting a trim. Sheep shearer Lorei Tomsin is a well known expert shearer who works throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Shearing will be conducted at regular intervals from 12 noon to 3 pm on Monday, May 22nd.

A visit to the Children's Farmyard and the Miniature Railway is always a great family outing. Summer hours for the Children's Farmyard and the Train begin on Saturday, May 20th - open daily from 11 am to 4 pm.
