Kitsilano Showboat Officially Opens Wednesday, June 28^th at 7:30 pm

June 26, 2006 (No. 43) - One of Vancouver's oldest entertainment traditions, Kitsilano Showboat, swings into its 71st season this Wednesday night starting at 7:30 pm. This outdoor amphitheatre, boasting one of the best waterfront views in the world, is located just west of the popular Kitsilano Beach Pool. Entertainment will vary each night but the usual repertoire includes local bands, singing and dancing. Admission is by donation. Showboat will run good weather Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from June 28th through August 18th.
