John Hendry Park Evening ConcertJuly 24, 2006 (No. 52) - Join community neighbours and friends at an evening outdoor concert this Thursday, July 27th from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at beautiful John Hendry Park. Once the home to Vancouver's first lumbering operation, the now pastoral landscape, boasting the city's only public swimming lake, will serve as a serene backdrop for this week's concert. The concert will be performed by the duo Pancho and Sal who will play Spanish and Latin music from high energy offerings to romantic melodies. Bring a blanket and a picnic supper and enjoy the lovely venue and beautiful music.
