Registration Opens for Child Care Programs at Champlain Child and Family CentreAugust 1, 2006 (No. 56) - The Vancouver Park Board and the Champlain Heights Community Association are pleased to announce that licensed child care services will soon be available in the new Champlain Child and Family Centre, located at the Champlain Community Centre Complex, 3350 Maquinna Drive in south Vancouver. Licensed preschool for 3 and 4 year olds will begin in late September, while licensed school-aged child care programs for 5 to 12 year olds attending Captain Cook Elementary School will begin some time in the fall. For more information or to add a child's name to a wait list for one of the programs, parents are asked to contact the Champlain Heights Community Centre at 604-718-6575. The Child Care Coordinator will confirm registration details on a first come-first served basis.
