Assignment Editors: Ground Breaking Ceremony at Ceperley Playground, Stanley Park

August 10, 2006 (No. 20) - Families of victims of the bombing of Air India Flight 182 will be joined by federal, provincial and municipal dignitaries in a ground breaking ceremony for a commemorative playground in Stanley Park.

Present to honour all those who were lost in Canada's worst terrorist incident will be federal Minister of Public Safety Stockwell Day, BC Attorney General and Multiculturalism Minister Wally Oppal, BC Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism Dave Hayer, City of Vancouver Deputy Mayor Heather Deal, Vancouver Park Board Chair Heather Holden and a number of local MPs and MLAs.
