Major Outdoor Pools Extend Summer Schedules

August 24, 2006 (No. 60) - Two of the Park Board's most popular heated outdoor swimming facilities will extend their summer schedules into September this year pleasing regular users as well as those visiting Vancouver. Kitsilano Beach Pool (North foot of Yew Street) and Second Beach Pool (Stanley Park) will be open daily as reflected in the diverse schedules below.

Second Beach Pool will be open daily through Sunday, September 10th from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm. Kitsilano Beach Pool will be open through Sunday, September 17th on weekdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and on weekends from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
