Vancouver Park Board Open House to review design plans for Hillcrest Curling Venue/Legacy Facility Percy Norman Aquatic Centre

September 27, 2006 (No. 69) - In January 2006, the City of Vancouver approved the rezoning of Hillcrest and Nat Bailey Stadium Parks to CD-1 to allow for construction of the Olympic Curling/Legacy building and the new aquatic centre. After the Olympics, the Curling venue will be converted for community use, including a new community centre, ice rink, curling club and library.

Earlier this year, Park Board held an open house for the public to view the schematic design plans and site plan for the Curling Venue/Legacy Facility and the new aquatic centre.
