Public Invited to an Open House on the Renewal of Trout Lake Ice Rink and Community Centre

October 16, 2006 (No. 73) - The Vancouver Park Board is holding a public open house to present information and provide an opportunity to discuss and comment on options for the siting of the new Trout Lake Community Centre and Ice Rink within John Hendry Park.

The ice rink will be rebuilt first, in time for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The community centre will be rebuilt at a later time, once funding has been approved.

The public is encouraged to attend the open house to view the options. Park Board staff will be in attendance to answer questions. The open house is scheduled for:
