Snow News
November 27, 2006 - The snowfall has caused some power outages and closures in the Vancouver Park Board system. Read below for an update.
- Street Trees: Please phone in reports of downed branches or trees to 604-257-8600.
- Stanley Park: The seawall has been plowed and is open. Due to heavy snowfall on trees, people are advised to stay off interior park trails.
- VanDusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak Street, is closed. Room rental events are still scheduled. Ph. 604-257-8666.
- Dunbar Community Centre & Fitness Centre, 4747 Dunbar Street: Closed due to power outage. Ph. 604-222-6060.
- Bloedel Floral Conservatory, located atop Queen Elizabeth Park, is closed today. Ph. 604-257-8556.
