27) - The Vancouver Park Board and British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund are reminding the public that the ninth annual Bright Nights in Stanley Park will open to the public tomorrow - Friday, December 1. People of all ages will enjoy the illuminated magic of Stanley Park and the Miniature Train and Children's Farmyard that have been transformed by seasonal displays and hundreds of thousands of glittering lights. The event helps to raise funds for the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. December 1, 2006 - January 2, 2007 Important Note: For public safety reasons, Stanley Park, on occasion, may be closed due to inclement weather conditions such as snow and high winds.
