Active Outreach - Red Fox Waking Launch

There will be a photo opportunity 4 to 4:30 p.m.

Red Fox Waking is a program focused on increasing access to fitness for Aboriginal families in East Vancouver. Please join Vancouver Active Communities Network (VACNet) Co-Chairs Bob Lenarduzzi and Sharon Urton for the launch of Active Outreach - Red Fox Waking and learn about the new activities and programs.

Something "foxy" is brewing at Helping Spirit Lodge, an organization dedicated to assisting the alleviation of family violence in the Aboriginal communities. Stilts, fox costumes, and air guitars fill an activity room where giggly youth are rehearsing a skit for the launch of Red Fox Waking.

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation maintains 200 parks and 40 major facilities throughout the City of Vancouver. The Park Board's mission is to provide, preserve and advocate for parks and recreation services to benefit people, communities and the environment.
