Park Board Hosts Tree Tours Part of Vancouver's First Cherry Blossom Festival

March 26, 2007 (No. 18) - Free tree tours will take place in two of the city's most beautiful parks over the next two weeks as part of Vancouver 's Cherry Blossom Festival. No pre-registration is necessary but participants should arrive before the start times to ensure a spot.

2:00 - 3:30 pm Meet at Cambie Street & 33rd Avenue under the Cherry Trees Park Board Horticulturalist and QE Park Supervisor Alex Downie will guide walkers through a variety of this arboretum's special cherry trees along with other exotic specimens.
Stanley Park
April 1
1:00 - 2:30 pm Meet at the Rose Garden Arbor off Pipeline Road Join Park Board Arborist Bill Stephen as he showcases the extraordinary trees in Vancouver's first park!
