Vancouver Aquatic Centre Life Saving Camp CourseTake the Steps to Qualify for Life Guarding Next SeasonNovember 14, 2007 (No. 57) - The Vancouver Aquatic Centre, located at 1050 Beach Avenue, will offer back-to-back lifeguard qualifying courses the first two weeks in December. The Bronze Medallion followed by the Bronze Cross intensive courses will be conveniently offered as a package during the evening hours from 5 pm - 9 pm weekdays December 10 through December 21. Successful fulfillment of the Bronze Medallion/Bronze Cross are prerequisites necessary for enrolment in the Park Board Life Guard Training School that starts in early January 2008. Cost for this special package of qualifying courses will be $226 and participant swimmers must be a minimum of 13 years of age.
