Earth Day Celebrations in Vancouver Parks
April 8, 2008 (No.

Earth Day by joining in community celebrations
on several Vancouver Parks. Earth Day is
a time to gather together with neighbours,
friends and families to celebrate our planet
by participating in "green" activities at
the community level. The first Earth Day
celebration was held on April 22, 1970 in
the United States. Today, millions of people
around the world annually celebrate International
Earth Day on or around April 22nd.
